Tired of Slop

Turn off wrestling and spend more time in prayer with God if you want the strength to overcome temptation and be all that God wants you to be.

As adults, we are not the only ones affected by eating the slop of violence, but many Christians start their children eating slop before the children can read or write. Just take a look at what the kids are watching on Saturday mornings in many Christian homes. Take a trip to the local video arcade in your neighborhood. Take a look at what our church children are playing in our homes on the video equipment purchased by their Christian parents/grandparents/aunts&uncles. What you will see is horrific murder with life-like action/animation - blood gushing with every punch, kick, and knife thrust into the other guy or lady's belly. But, to top even this, we have "Christian" churches that actually promote violence as an organization. Take for instance, one church in the Midwest that actually gives fighting lessons to young boys. These lessons are given right on the church premises. You don't believe me? First, look up the term MARTIAL ARTS. Whenever Christians support training people in the martial arts (i.e. Karate), these Christians are not just supporting a means for physical discipline (as in basketball), but they are also supporting teaching people to effectively punch and kick other humans.

The affect of eating slop does not just impact the Christian community. American society at large is suffering because of the over abundance of slop and the publics willingness to eat it. Why have wrestling shows held the top rating spots so long on the cable networks in America (the so-called Christian Nation)? Even if you are not a Christian, the type of person you are is still based in large part on the type of things that you repeatedly take into your mind.

Americans keep asking the question "Why is there so much violence in our neighborhoods, even in our children's schools?" Yet, do we really want the answer? Remember the old saying: "You are what you eat."

Do we want a change in our society?
Start today with a diet change. Refuse to eat slop from today forward. Don't be ashamed to refuse slop when it is offered to you by friends and relatives.

You cannot necessarily stop others from eating slop, but you can control what you eat.

Remember: "What you eat, is what you are."
