Politicians on
Fatherhood
Let’s get straight to
the point:
We have many politicians who recognize that many of the problems in
society today (e.g., high crime rate, sexual promiscuity, illicit
drug use) is dramatically reduced when there is a loving
husband/father in the home, as opposed to the all too frequent
situation where a mother is left to support the home and raise the
children alone.
You may have even seen politicians (and Hollywood celebrities too)
at the highest level of government go on record chastising men who
don’t “step up” and provide emotional and material support for their
children. Jesus lets us know that there are even evil fathers who
will try to give their children the material things needed, which
alludes to the fact that a man is pretty pathetic when he doesn't
put forth the effort to care for his own.
Luke 11:11-13
11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he
give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a
serpent?
12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?
13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your
children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy
Spirit to them that ask him?
KJV
But here’s the inconsistency: Many of the same politicians and movie
stars who extol the great importance of fathers taking their place,
behave cowardly when they fear that standing for right may cost them
the loss of votes or fans.
Let me spell out what I’m saying: You cannot promote high importance
of fatherhood and at the same time promote that it is valid for two
lesbians to raise a child as a valid replacement for a mother and
father. A woman can no more replace a father, than a man can be a
woman (no matter how many hormone shots are injected).
Even though my father was raised by a single parent, my grandmother
brought my father into a church environment that allowed him to get
mentorship by one or more strong male role models. This however,
operated only as a second best choice to having a father in the
home. But by no means is homosexually a fix for an absentee father,
but homosexually is rather total confusion. What are we to see next,
group marriages between multiple men married to multiple women?
So, I say this with absolute certainty, that you cannot truly
support the concept of fatherhood as God created it and be so
cowardly as to fold to the pressure of the homosexual movement that
proclaims two people of the same sex can carry on like a married
couple and raise children. You simply cannot support both without
being a double minded politician.
James 1:8
8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
KJV
We have far too many double minded politicians. So, let us not be
wishy-washy people.
